TRIPSIGHT – Bike tours, Bike and Barge tours, River Cruises

Tripsight —

Tripsite specializes in a wide variety of cycling tours throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Americas, including Bike and Barge Tours, Road Bike Tours, and now River Cruises.  They even offer a cycling tour in the Galapagos Islands!

This family-owned business was founded in 1999 out of a passion for cycling. Being originally from the Netherlands, the van den Hengels have had the pleasure of experiencing much of Europe over the years, be it via bicycle, boat, or train. This passion for travel has taken them beyond Europe as well, in search of new and exciting places to take fellow travelers.

They offer self-guided, guided, and supported bicycle tours, with most tours offering the e-bike (electric bike) option.  For Europe tours, their bike and barge tours are an ideal way to travel!  The barge is your floating hotel and the bike is your means to explore the backroads of countries and cultures.   Guided tours include a cycling guide and the camaraderie of biking in a group.  Supported tours, though lacking a cycling guide, provide vehicle backup if needed.

In addition, they offer multi-adventure tours that include activities such as ziplining in Ecuador, hiking on a Croatian mountain, kayaking in Portugal or Vietnam, as well as cultural activities like cooking classes in France, Spain and Italy.

Offering a diverse portfolio, they offer tours to fit any budget, from luxury to value and tours to suit any interest including history, culture, and gastronomy. Tailored made tours are possible as well! Tripsite promises that their bike tour prices are the lowest on the market without sacrificing quality.

As you travel from port to port, you’ll learn about history, art, ecology and culture from world-class instructors and local experts.

Road Scholar’s fundraising brings in nearly $2 million in donations every year, allowing them to offer enrichment grants to those who otherwise could not afford a Road Scholar trip.
